Rike is an artist and musician living in hannover, he began to make music with computers using magix hiphop maker 2 almost twenty years ago and was introduced to the visual programming language pure data some years later while studying fine arts in brunswick.

In his open code concert he is drumming through a set of pure data patches; improvising with hands & feet, noise & pop, drill snares, breakbeats & soulful samples. During the show the pure data patches are shown and afterwards there will be time for questions, to look into details of the code, the hows and whats and whys of what was heard & seen before.
